Heartsaver for K-12 Schools Certification eCards are used to certify students and staff in K-12 educational settings who have completed the Heartsaver course. These eCards, available to AHA instructors aligned with the National CPR Center, cover essential First Aid, CPR, and AED skills tailored for school environments. Instructors can add these eCards to their Atlas inventory to ensure students and school staff receive proper certification upon course completion.
Requirements for Certification:
Complete the AHA Heartsaver for K-12 Schools (First Aid CPR AED) course in its entirety.
Demonstrate proficiency in providing First Aid, CPR, and AED use appropriate for a school setting.
Successfully complete skills tests, including CPR and AED use.
Actively participate in hands-on practice sessions.
Demonstrate effective response to emergencies, including injuries, choking, allergic reactions, and cardiac incidents.
